Based in Kelowna BC Canada, Over the Top Performance has been producing snowmobile accessories since 2003. OTTP has produced multiple renditions of an ice scratcher over the years, with the current design having twice the spray of traditional scratchers due to the patent pending design of the stainless steel “ski”. This design in both the ski mount and rail mount, not only throws more snow but allows the snowmobile to reverse on hard packed snow without raising the scratcher.

Rail Mount Instructions:

Position the scratcher spring where it will clear idler wheels and suspension springs. Mark the “center” of the coiled end drill a 9/32” hole to position the 90 degree end into the rail. Drill a second 5/16” hold exactly, 2 3/8” (center to center) behind the first hole where the bolt goes through the rail. Insert the 10mm x 25mm bolt through the back of rail and into the black aluminum hex spacer and tighten using blue Loctite.

Optional Bracket:

On some snowmobiles an optional bracket is supplied to hold the scratcher in place when in the stowed position. Position this on the rail where the scratcher will clear the rail and the track. Drill a 5/16 hole and bolt the bracket to the rail.

Note: On some brand of snowmobiles, this scratcher will fit directly into the OEM holes. The hole for the optional bracket will have to still drilled.

WARRANTY

OTTP provides a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. You must have proof of purchase. OTTP will cover replacement parts and customer is responsible for shipping costs.
